Preserving the Christian Purpose of the YMCA

The "C" in the YMCA
The Young Men's Christian Association, or the YMCA, was founded with  mission-based programming. We continue to promote that important part of our heritage and apply it in our facilities and programs.

Our Mission: To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

Christian Emphasis Committee

The Christian Emphasis Committee is made up of a group of dedicated Y volunteers and Christians that give their time to promote the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Cannon Memorial YMCA for the purpose of carrying out our mission.
