The Young Men's Christian Association, or the YMCA, was founded with  mission-based programming. We continue to promote that important part of our heritage and apply it in our facilities and programs.

 Our Mission: To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

Christian Emphasis Committee
The Christian Emphasis Committee is made up of a group of dedicated Y volunteers and Christians that give their time to promote the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Cannon Memorial YMCA for the purpose of carrying out our mission. • Mark your Calendar…Our 2011 NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER is Thursday, May 5 at the Great Wolf Lodge at 8am.  Table for 10 is $150 and a single ticket is $15….please register at any of our Y locations.  Proceeds benefit our Annual Support Campaign.
• We have prayer boxes at each Y!  Please fill out a prayer request at our front desk so our prayer team can pray for you.
• Bible studies/classes ongoing now!  Please see your Y branch for specific dates and times.
