Cannon Memorial YMCA Fitness Centers

We offer fitness centers equipped with cardio machines, circuit machines, free weights and straching/floor exercise areas. Many cardio machines feature personal televisions and all fitnees centers are staffed with knowledgable, friendly staff to assist you with your needs.

Are you a new Y member?
   Call the YMCA Branch nearest you to schedule a FREE fitness center orientation. Facility members are strongly encouraged to participate in this orientation. A fitness specialist will meet with you individually, or groups of two or three to show you how to safely se the equipment in the fitness center. This orientation is approximatley 30 minutes and is for ages 10 & up.


Fitness Center Age Guidelines

In order to provide a safe and positive expirience for our youth the following age guidelines will apply for members and guests.

10 years-12 years: can use the cardio equipment but they must be at least 10 years old and with a parent at all times. A fitness orientation is strongly encouraged.

13 years-15 years: can use the cardio equipment and circuit machines but must with a parent/gaurdian unless the Teen Fit program has been completed. Can also participate in group exercise classes with parent/gaurdian.

16 & up: Can use the entire fitness center including free weights at anytime and can participate in group exercise classes.
